Mrs. Hooper was born July 21, 1963 in Natchez, MS to Josephine J. Hawkins and Earl Johnson. She was educated at Co-Lin Community College and LSU-Alexandria, where she earned an Associate Degree in Child Care. She was employed with the City of Vidalia as a Police Officer until her illness. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. Addie joined Bethel Church and served as a Sunday School Administrator, Usher, and Choir member. She is preceded in death by her brother, Casey B. Johnson, grandmother, and grandfather: Curtis and Addie Johnson and stepfather, Samuel Hawkins. Addie leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 33 years: Donald Ray Hooper, a daughter, Charita Lynette Hooper, a son, Donald Curtis Hooper, a mother: Josephine R. Hawkins of Vidalia, LA, father: Earl Johnson of Natchez; 2 grandsons: Keilan D. Sherman and Landyn L. Hooper, six sisters: Dinah Johnson, Quenta (Robert) Calhoun, Chakatria Johnson, all of Vidalia, Ruthel Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA, Sonia (Keith) Adams, April Jenkins, Barbara Green, Jessie Hawkins, Juanita Hawkins, all of Natchez, MS, and Betty Collins of Dallas, TX; three brothers: Charles Wayne Johnson of Vidalia, LA, Marcus (Alison) Jenkins of Byram, MS, Roderick Jenkins of Natchez and other relatives and friends.
