    Mrs. Helen Ruth Phipps Washington

    September 11, 1946 - July 8, 2019

    Mrs. Washington was born on September 11, 1946 in Natchez, the daughter of Otis Phipps and Edna Christmas Phipps. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and a member of Egypt Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess. She enjoyed fishing and shopping. She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Ida Pearl Montgomery, Claudia Mae Easton, Thelma Dixon; six brothers: Larry Phipps, Isaac Phipps, Coy Phipps, Louis Phipps, O. W. Phipps, Otis James Phipps. Survivors include: her husband: Eli Washington; daughter: Lawanda Jones and husband Gregory; granddaughter: Jasmine G. Jones and other relatives and friends.
