    Ms. Irma Lee Williams

    June 18, 1935 - May 4, 2014

    Mrs. Irma Williams was born June 18, 1935 in Natchez to Charles Clayton, Sr. and Lottie Mae Dorsey Clayton. Mrs. Williams was a member of Greater True Lane Baptist Church in New Orleans. She worked in the school system and was a social worker for 25 years. In earlier years, she enjoyed ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Edward Williams, Jr., sisters: Leola Clayton and Theresa Watts, and a brother: Robert Earl. Survivors include: a daughter: Ellene Williams of Riverdale, GA, two brothers: Charles Clayton, Jr., and Autry (Jerry Dean) Clayton, Sr., two sisters: Latifah Abdullah and Leatrice Shaw, all of Natchez, 4 grandchildren: Veronique Williams Henderson, Tianne Williams, Shantia Williams, and Christopher Martin, and 9 great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
