    Ms Jessie Bell Carter

    March 19, 1951 - September 11, 2019

    Ms Carter was born March 19, 1951, in Natchez, the daughter of Martin Carter, Sr. and Frances Christmas Carter. She was a 1969 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and attended Delta Career College. Jessie B. was a poll worker with Adams County Election Commission and a member of the NAACP. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, groceries and treasures at garage sales. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Martin Carter, Jr., Edward Ray Christmas, Sr. and Melvin Carter and one sister: Dorothy “Qbell” Carter. Survivors include: two daughters: Vifran Nanese Carter and Tiffany Nyree Carter; two brothers: Rickey James Carter and wife Diane of Dallas, TX and Ernest Carter and wife Bernadine of New Orleans, LA; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
