Mrs. Mary Louise Quinn Fitzgerald

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on October 25, 1930, the daughter of Geneva Isaac Quinn and Cicero P. Quinn. She was educated at the Painter’s School in Anna’s (Robinson) Bottom. Mary was a retired cook in her family business-Cross Keys Café and Lounge, the Natchez Public School District, Hallelujah Restaurant, and Ramada Inn. She was a member of the Greater St. Mark Baptist Church. Mary loved quilting, gardening, attending to her livestock , canning preservatives, baking and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Monroe “John” Fitzgerald; 2 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Her survivors include: 3 sons: Robert Fitzgerald, Johnnie L. Fitzgerald and wife Leola and Elliston Fitzgerald; 6 daughters: Gwendolyn Ware and husband Willie and Darlene Jones and husband Levandia Jones, Gearldine Hooper and husband Clyde, Mary Moultrie, Shirley Dockery and husband Bobby, and Althea Brown and husband Bruce, all of Detroit, MI; 2 brothers: Henry Quinn and wife Audrey of Chicago, IL and Sampson Quinn; 1 sister Della Quinn of Alexandria, LA; 28 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
