Mrs. Patricia Ann Drake Chaney

Mrs. Chaney was born on November 8, 1952 in New Orleans, the daughter of Johnnie Drake and Dorothy Washington Drake. Patricia was a 1970 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School. She retired from Walmart SuperCenter in 2014 and was president of the usher ministry at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Chaney enjoyed attending church services, watching cooking and game shows and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother: James A. Washington; paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include: her husband: Garnett Chaney, Sr.; three sons: Garnett Chaney, Jr. and wife Michelle, Darrell Chaney, and Brian Chaney Chaney and wife Tuckeeyon; four brothers: Johnny A. Drake and wife Shelia, Theodore S. Drake and wife Genell, Frederick Drake and wife Tasa, George Drake and wife Eugenia; three sisters: Joanett Drake, Linda Drake, and Laura N. Drake and husband Isaac; grandson: Daylon Broadway; special friends: Laura Whittley, Gayle Morris and mother-in-law: Irma Ivory and husband Willis and other relatives and friends.
