    Mr. Riley Lee Clay

    October 15, 1957 - November 27, 2019

    Mr. Clay was born October 16, 1957 in Natchez, the son of James Albert Clay and Lydia Woods Clay. He received his bachelor’s degree and was an engineer with SMI until his retirement. Riley was a member of the Freedom Riders Association and loved horseback riding, dancing and helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenny Clay and Michael Clay. Survivors include his wife, Mary Barnes Clay; son, Riley Lee Clay, Jr.; daughters: Cassey Clay-Fluker and husband Michael, Tonique Clay-Blanchard and husband Kenneth, LaVanya Clay-Nicholson and husband Ervin; brother, James Albert Clay and wife Linda; sisters, Monica Clay- Morris and husband Michael and Chriscella Clay. Riley was truly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.westgatefh.com
