Mr. Albert Hickombottom

On May 18, 1962, in Natchez Mississippi, Mr. and Mrs. Willie & Leola Hickombottom, welcomed and celebrated the birth of their son Albert Lee. FINDING JOY IN THE JOURNEY -------------------------------------------------- Albert grew up in a loving family with his parents Willie and Leola and his 4 sisters` Shirley, Barbara Deloris, Mildred, and Bobbie Jean; and 4 brothers` Willie James, Charles, Jewel, and Edward Darnell. Albert graduated from North Natchez Adams High School, Class of 1982. After which, he worked in the Transportation Industry, transporting Cars and people around the nation, working with Greyhound Bus company plus. He later worked with Natchez Transit and Durham Bus Services. Albert was a fun-loving, kind-hearted, giving, joyful person, with a super big heart, who enjoyed his family, his children` Bernice, Tremaine Shaun, Albert Jr., Shirley, Jeron, Jordan, Rakael, Brianna, Jewel, Darrius, and Christopher; 27 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other family, friends and neighbors. He loved his family passionately and enjoyed car mechanics, and driving. He also enjoyed singing in the choir and good church preaching and singing, as well as good food and sweets. He received JESUS as LORD and Savior, was baptized, and joined the Claremont Baptist Church with his mom, where he was a member of the choir. When he married, he attended and ultimately joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with his wife and family. DEATH ----------- On January 22, 2024, Albert transitioned. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Leola Hickombottom; his grandparents Clarence & Clementine Hickombottom and James Hatch & Selena Lawrence; his sisters Shirley Ann & Barbara Deloris Hickombottom; his brother Willie James Hickombottom; and his Nephews Jeron R. Moore and Bill Calvin Jr. HIS FOOTPRINTS in our HEARTS FOREVER: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Left to cherish his precious memories are his children: four daughters: Bernice White (Reginald Smith), Dallas, TX; Brianna Jackson and Shirley and Rakael Hickombottom, Natchez, MS; seven sons: Jordan Hickombottom, Denver, CO; Tremaine Perry, Albert Jr., Jeron, and Christopher Hickombottom, Jewel Coach, and Darius Jackson, Natchez, MS; twenty-seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters: Mildred Davis(Tommy), Houston, TX; Bobbie Jean Lott, Natchez, MS; three brothers, Charles (Stephanie) Hickombottom, Crosby, TX; Edward (Lupe Avalos) Hickombottom, Dayton, TX; and Jewel Lee Hickombottom, Houston, TX; one aunt, Temple Lee Hickombottom, Biloxi, MS; and a host of other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
